The One Who Started It All

The energy, the vision, and the reason it all started.

Known as Ayim, he’s the heart behind Redtape Films, the one who brings both the vision and the vibe to every shoot. The kind of person who turns moments into memories, and work into something people actually enjoy being part of.

With over a decade of experience in videography, Ayim started his journey capturing weddings, learning how to read emotions, anticipate moments, and tell stories that feel real. What began as a one-man passion slowly grew into a team, a brand, and a creative direction that continues to evolve today.

Redtape is where it is now because of that energy, the ability to stay grounded, stay creative, and most importantly, keep things human.

From Where It Started

From passion to people, and stories that stay.

Redtape Films began in 2012 as Redtape Projects, rooted in our love for videography and working with people, especially through weddings. What started as something we enjoyed soon became something we deeply believed in.

Over time, we realised it was never just about weddings, it was about the connections we built and the stories we were trusted to tell. That naturally led us beyond weddings.

Today, we’ve grown into Redtape Films, crafting stories for brands, entrepreneurs, and businesses across Singapore while carrying the same storytelling approach at our core.

Because to us, it has never just been about videography.
It’s about people, stories, and creating something that stays.

Behind every story is a team that believes in it.

Alongside Ayim are Dhalifah, Ruzanna, and Faizal, the core team who have been part of the Redtape journey for 5 years. More than just collaborators, they share a passion for storytelling, an attention to detail, and the same energy that defines every Redtape film.

Each of them brings their own strengths, but together, they move with one vision, to support, create, and deliver stories that feel honest and meaningful.

Because great films aren’t made alone.

They’re built by people who understand the story and believe in it just as much.

The People Who Built This With Us

Every story we’ve told was never ours alone.

Over the years, many have been part of the Redtape journey, each bringing their time, energy, and heart into the work we do. Some have moved on, while some are still with us today, but all of them have played a part in shaping who we are.

This is a small tribute to the people behind the scenes, the ones who showed up, created, supported, and believed in what we were building.

Because Redtape was never built by one.
It was built by many, and every one of them will always be a part of our story.
